About
QN is a network of locally rooted travel experts specializing in complex travel across South America, connecting the planet through human experience. We don't sell destinations. We reveal territories through local knowledge, trusted relationships, and decisions made closest to the ground.
Why Partner with QN?
-
51 full-time team members across Peru, Ecuador and Chile, living and working in the destinations they represent. Local knowledge isn't outsourced.
-
Experienced destination specialists, trained guides, and proven contingency protocols turn complex operations into reliable journeys. We know when to go, when to wait, who to trust, and how to adapt when conditions change.
-
Long-term relationships with communities, researchers, artisans, conservation partners, and local experts create experiences that can't be sourced through intermediaries. Our team's curiosity and deep local networks open doors that remain closed to most visitors.
-
The destination is not the product. The experience is.
Our product team continuously develops, tests, and refines experiences based on changing destinations, emerging trends, and partner feedback. We handle sourcing, negotiations, and costing, making it easier for you to design exceptional journeys with confidence.

IMPACT
Value That Stays Where It's Created
The Great Inca Trail
Long before QN became a regional network, our relationship with the Qhapaq Ñan — the Great Inca Road — began as an exploration project. Our founder, Nick Stanziano, walked over 2,800 kilometers of the trail between Cuenca and Cusco across more than 220 days, an expedition later featured by National Geographic. That journey grew into an ongoing documentation program: each year, QN returns to different sections of the Qhapaq Ñan to record GPS tracks, assess trail conditions, and document archaeological features — work shared with the institutions responsible for its conservation, in collaboration with Patronato Cultural del Perú and aligned with Peru's Ministry of Culture. Follow the expeditions on the Qhapaq Ñan Review.
Carbon Capture
QN mitigates its footprint by investing in landscape protection across the Amazon, through our partnership with Regenera. More than carbon offsets and tree planting alone, this means supporting living landscapes managed by the people who know them best — joining forces with Guardian communities and local stakeholders committed to caring for a natural landscape, so it can be preserved and thrive together.
Community & Local Supplier Partnerships
We work directly with local communities and local suppliers across every territory we operate in — keeping value close to where journeys actually happen, not routed through intermediaries.
B-Corp Certified
QN is B Corp Certified, with our strongest performance in Governance and Workers — reflecting how we run the business and how we treat the people who run it with us.
